Prolonged stretching impedes the maximum contractile force of muscles. Instead, experts now recommend starting off your exercise with a warm-up, such as an easy walk or a sport-specific routine such as serving some tennis balls and practicing ground strokes before a match. I know how tough this stuff is – it’s not just KNOWING what to do, but ALSO knowing how to do it correctly and sticking with the plan for months. I’ve been working with an online fitness coach for 5+ years – he can see my progress and then create the next workout that is sliiiightly more difficult. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but tracking your food for just a few days could be one of the most eye-opening experiences you have when it comes to getting in shape. With a fitness journal, you can set specific, achievable goals and break them down into smaller, measurable steps that you can track over time. For example, if your goal is to run a 5k, you can set a series of smaller goals, such as running for 10 minutes without stopping, then 20 minutes, and so on, until you reach your ultimate goal. By tracking your progress towards each goal in your fitness journal, you can stay motivated and celebrate each milestone along the way. Tracking your progress is an essential aspect of keeping a fitness journal, as it allows you to see the results of your hard work and stay motivated. By recording your workout times, weights lifted, and other metrics, you can monitor your progress towards your fitness goals and adjust your routine as needed to continue challenging yourself. Seeing progress over time can also help you stay motivated on days when you feel less inspired or when you hit a plateau. Looking at your fitness frequency with Calendar view can help you identify any gaps or inconsistencies in your workout routine.
